It’s unusual to find a single varietal wine made with Graciano such as this, as it’s an unforgiving cepage that is difficult to manage, yet provides amazing weight of fruit and concentration if handled properly. It has a unique character that will please those who want to move away from the monotony of globalization from better known international varieties.
Tasting Notes:
Full bodied with good structure and round tannins. Good weight of fruit in the mid palate with a lingering licorice finish. It’s opulent yet silky smooth, and shows an aftertaste that seems almost sweet due to the effect of the ripe fruit. An elegant, well structured wine.
